Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a dietetic intern passionate about helping others ditch dieting + make peace with food and their natural body size. My goal is to help you create a life full of happiness, health, and freedom from restrictive dieting.
As a former cross country and track athlete, I understand the pressures most of us feel to eat & weigh a certain amount. While many nutrition messages out there are designed to shame you into greater food & life restriction, I believe that true health comes from satisfying your cravings and needs. You don’t have to cut out your favorite foods (and thus some favorite parts of your life!) in order to achieve optimal health.
I don’t believe in diets or any form of restrictive eating. I believe and teach that health and optimal performance can be achieved for all people, regardless of body size.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics + an emphasis in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Bradley University, I am currently completing my Dietetic Internship at the University of Kentucky Hospital, specializing in clinical nutrition. I have spent time in the research setting identifying dietary factors that contribute to the development of athletic injury and understand the physiological and psychological mechanisms behind weight balance. I have a strong background in sports nutrition, disordered eating, and clinical nutrition, and have worked with many different patient populations to spread the Health At Every Size message.
