MY FOOD PHILOSOPHY
To me, food is just food. It’s meant to provide nourishment to our bodies both physically and mentally, but when we complicate things by attaching labels and allowing external cues to dictate our food choices – that’s when things get a little messy. Avoiding certain foods does not make you “good”, just like eating certain foods does not make you “bad”. I believe that food is completely morally neutral, yet somehow we’ve made eating awfully complicated! My job as a future registered dietitian is to take a personalized approach to help you learn how to become more in-tune with your body, take away the guilt, and love food again!

About the Blog
I started this little blog as a creative outlet to share my love for cooking + photography. Eventually, it turned into an easy platform to share some of the interesting things I learned about food and nutrition, as well as my experiences as a cross country and track athlete. You’ll find a lot of posts on running, cooking, nutrition, and my journey to becoming an RD.
Other Fun Facts
I absolutely love running and one day hope to get into ultramarathons! I love hiking, being outdoors, and am happiest when double-fisting an iced latte and a giant fruit smoothie. My all-time favorite food is guacamole and you can find me either at a farmer’s market or cozy coffee shop almost every Saturday morning.
